Before you book- Lash extensions.

To get the best out of your lash extension appointment, we’ve put together a list of steps to follow before you book.

Please arrive with clean eyes, no mascara or eye make up and no heavy moisturisers if possible. Lash extensions need a pristine clean lash to bond perfectly too, and the longer we spend removing make up the less time we have to apply the lashes.

Make sure to buy a lash cleanser before your appointment, Lash extensions have to be washed 2-3 times a week or daily if wearing make up, lash extensions accumulate oils, dust and debris just the same as our natural eyes do, clean lashes last longer and this also prevents lash lice and eye infections. We recommend Nouveau micellar eye make up remover or Johnsons baby shampoo.

Mascara on lash extensions can almost never be fully removed. mascara Coats lash extensions and leaves a residue even when visible traces are removed, this means lashes cannot be separated or isolated properly, and your extensions may clump together. If you come to an infill with mascara or strip lash glue on, we may be unable to infill.

Combs- another essential for lash extensions, lash extensions require combing regularly to keep fluffy and in order, make sure to have a few clean Combs ready for after your appointment, these are essential for perfect lashes.

Extensions are designed for YOU, No 2 sets are the same and we will always have your lash health as our focus. We will never weigh down or damage your natural lashes and because of this, your natural lashes will determine your lash sets. We will do our best to fulfil your wishes, however please bear in mind if your natural lashes are sparse or weak, you may not be able to achieve the same kind of set as someone with strong and full natural lashes.

Infills- To infill lash extensions there MUST be at least 40% of your set remaining, anything less than this will result in a full set cost and potentially not having the time to fill your lashes. Lash retention varies from person to person but our guideline for infills is 2-3 weeks. Your natural lashes fall out every day, this is why regular infills are essential for maintenance and unfortunately past the 4 week mark we are unable to infill lashes, so we recommend booking in advance.

Lash conditioners and serums- With all lash treatments we recommend using a lash conditioner, particularly with LVL. You wouldn’t dye, or chemically treat your hair without using a conditioner, and your lashes require the same attention. we recommend using Revitalash or nouveau lash and brow conditioner. This keeps your lashes full and healthy, and the better your natural lashes are, the better you treatments will be.
